Locker lighting refurbishment

A little side project is to make the locker lighting work again.

Locker lighting.

Since we don’t have diagrams of how the vehicle wiring was originally done (and as our fit-out will probably be slightly different) it look quite a while to trace out the locker lighting wiring.

A 12 volt feed from the battery is taken via a fuse on the main distribution panel behind the passenger’s seat, from there it rejoins the original vehicle wiring next to the main battery and then goes to the rear offside locker for further distribution – this is where the auxiliary batteries were originally.

A small 4-way fuse board was mounted on the locker roof and the existing vehicle wiring then carries the power to two locker lights (rear N/S, rear O/S), the N/S termination panel and the rear power input panel.
